PURPOSE:To make it possible to rotate rotary packings smoothly without deteriorating the sealing property by forming a hollow in each rotary packing respectively along the peripheral direction, and furnishing a fluid passage to deliver the fluid to each hollow in each rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:In this end-sealing device, a clearance is opened between a casing 2 and each rotary packing 3 on condition that the hollow chamber 17 in each rotary packing 3 is not expanded by the fluid. As a result, each rotary packing 3 can be rotated easily in a casing 2 by the rotation mechanism 6, and the position of a cable-gearing groove 4 to a cable 13 can be converted. After the setting of the position of the cable-gearing groove 4 is completed, a fluid such as the air is delivered to the hollow chamber 17 of the packings 3, and each packing 3 is expanded. The clearance between the casing 2 and each rotary packing 3 is closed accordingly, and sealing can be carried out. |
