PURPOSE:To keep the inside of the titled device to a low humidity for a long period while the device copes with a high humidity state by adopting a humidity absorbing device to keep the inside of the device to a low humidity as replacable cartridge. CONSTITUTION:A humidity absorbing device 1 is fitted while being inserted to a fit part 3 on a cover 2 of the device case. When a magnetic disk device is installed, the humidity absorbing device 1 is fitted to a fit part 3 on the cover 2 of the device case, and moisture in the inside of the deice reaches a drying agent 6 in the humidity absorbing device 1 through a filter 5 of a shield plate 3, air holes 4, and air holes 4 of the humidity absorbing device 1, and is absorbed. When the drying agent absorbs enough moisture and reaches its saturation, the drying agent 6 is removed by the humidity absorbing device 1 from the fit part 3 on the cover 2 of the device case and the new absorbing device 1 is inserted to the fit 3 to allow ease of replacement from the outside of the device. Moreover, the filter 5 of the shield plate 3 prevents the invasion of dust in external air during the replacement. Thus, the high humidity is coped with the device 1 and it is possible to keep the inner part of the device at a low humidity at all times.
