PURPOSE:To realize the print processing for plural word processors, etc., with use of a single shared printer by using two answer means and three deciding means. CONSTITUTION:A 1st answer means 115b serves as a computer system which performs the print processing via a print processing program working as an application program AP, an operating system OS and a driver and the means 115b gives an answer to the AP in terms of the propriety for occupation, etc. In addition, a 1st deciding means is used when the OS decides the propriety for occupation together with a 2nd answer means 125b used when a laser printer driver 130, gives an answer to the OS, a 2nd deciding means used when the driver 130 decides the propriety for occupation, and a 3rd deciding means used when laser printer controllers 210a and 210b decide the propriety for connection. In such constitution, the AP decides the contents of the 1st answer means via the 1st deciding means and starts the print processing only when the end of occupation is reported. Thus it is possible to perform the print processing with no conflict.
