HIGH CORROSION RESISTANT AMORPHOUS NICKEL ALLOY

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce an amorphous nickel alloy suitable as a corrosion resistant material in a severe corrosive environment by incorporating specific amounts of Mo and Ta into Ni. CONSTITUTION:The amorphous nickel alloy contg., by atom., 10-40% Ta, 25-50% total amt. Mo with Ta and the balance consisting substantially of Ni is prepd.; or the amorphous nickel alloy contg. >=10%-<25% Ta, 25-50% total amt. of Cr and Ta and the balance consisting substantially of Ni is prepd. Said alloy forms a stable protective film and exhibits high corrosion resistance in a severe corrosive environment such as high temp. phosphoric acid having poor oxidizing power.
