PURPOSE:To effectively remove dust from an item to be cleared off stored in a container,by a method wherein it is repeated that the interior of a dust removing container is forced into a negative pressure state and pressurized. CONSTITUTION:An item 2 to be cleared off is closed in a dust removing chamber 1, and air in the dust removing chamber is sucked with the aid of a suction pump 3. In this case, dust adhered to the item to be cleared off is sucked. When suction is stopped and a clear air valve 6 is opened, clean air passing a filter 9 is blown against the item to be cleared off. Dust adhered to the item to be cleared off is beaten with clean air and is separated for dust-removal. By stopping the feed of clean air and effecting suction again, the separated dust is discharged. In this case, by mounting a dust counter 4 in an exhaust duct, and amount of dust under exhaust is displayed on a dust count display board 7.
