PURPOSE:To enable a lift device to be mounted on a vehicle with the bumper thereof kept as fitted by providing a means for causing the advance and retreat of a base frame under a vehicle cabin floor and supporting a platform on the base frame. CONSTITUTION:When an operation power source 13 for advance and retreat motion is extended, an advance and retreat lower arm 5 turns forward, and this lower arm 5 and an upper arm 4 shift together under a vehicle cabin floor. And with an operation upper arm 22 and an operation lower arm 23 kept horizontally on a base frame 9, a platform 28 is caused to shift forward of a cabin entrance and exit 35 under a bumper 38 and a sub-platform 30 is expanded. Then, when a lift operation source 27 is extended, both upper and lower arms 22 and 23 rise about the base frame 9 and the platform 28 comes to be located at the same level as the cabin floor 1. As aforementioned, the lift arms are made to operate outside a vehicle and to be free from collision with the bumper thereof.
