PURPOSE:To prevent a liquid crystal display unit from being blurred by steam or the like generated from a heating chamber and also prevent the invasion of moisture which causes deterioration of a polarizing plate, by providing a drip-proof plate between a liquid crystal display plate and moisture-proof rubber for preventing a blur on the front face of the display unit. CONSTITUTION:To a liquid crystal display plate 5 junctioned are a polarizing plate 4 and an electrode unit 10 as component elements, and the front face thereof is overlapped with a drip-proof plate 11 whose front area corresponding to the display region is cut open to surround the circumferential part of the display plate 5, and further the front face of said drip-proof plate 11 is covered with moisture-proof rubber 9 for filling up a gap between the drip-proof plate 11 and an operation panel. The drip-proof plate 11 has a collar portion 12 in the vertical direction. In the aforementioned constitution, when steam generated by the heating of foodstuffs creeps to the vicinity of a control base plate, the front face of the liquid crystal display plate 5 is protected from the invasion of the steam by moisture-proof rubber 9. The moisture or the water droplet will be adhered to the outer periphery of the moisture-proof rubber 9, but the invasion of the same into the portion of the liquid crystal display plate 5 may be prevented by the drip-proof plate 11, thus protecting the front face of the display unit from a blur and preventing the polarizing plate from deteriorating or the like.
