摘要 |
PURPOSE:To accurately find the input counting rate of a linear amplifier by dividing a counted value recorded in a process memory by [1-(counting loss probability)] through an analytic device. CONSTITUTION:A random pulse signal 32 outputted by a detector 31 is inputted to a preamplifier 33. The preamplifier 33 is applied with a prescribed bias from a detector bias setter 34. The output signal 35 of the preamplifier 33 is inputted to the linear amplifier 36. The linear amplifier 36 has a pileup rejecting function. A signal which loses energy information owing to a pileup is rejected and current measurement is interrupted to correct live time. The process memory 42 counts the live time with a correction signal for the blind zone time of an A/D converter 39. Then the analytic device 45 divides the counted value recorded in the process memory 42 by [1-(counting loss probability)] to accurately find the input counting rate of the linear amplifier 36.
