PURPOSE:To analyze a carbonyl compound in an exhaust gas continuously, by coupling a fluorescent reagent in a reactive solution and a carbonyl compound therein selectively and continuously. CONSTITUTION:A solution having a fluorescent reagent dissolved is stored in a reaction liquid storage tank 30. The solution is supplied into a reaction tube 33 with the action of a liquid feed pump 31. On the other hand, an exhaust gas is supplied into the reaction tube 33 from a gas supply line 34. A complex is formed in the reaction tube 33 between the fluorescent reagent and a carbonyl reagent in the exhaust gas. As the reaction tube is formed corrugated to allow the running of a solution having the exhaust gas and the fluorescent reagent dissolved in a counterflow, a convection is caused within the reaction tube, thereby improving efficiency in the formation of a fluorescent reagent complex with the carbonyl compound.
