PURPOSE:To instantaneously disconnect both shafts and to eliminate a danger of oil leakage by connecting an output shaft of an electric motor through an electromagnetic clutch to a screw shaft which is engaged with a rod and projected over a case with its rotation. CONSTITUTION:A connecting fitting 24 for connecting a driven member is fixed to the forward end of a cylindrical rod 2, and a nut fitting 25 screw-engaged with a screw shaft 3 of a ball screw with a large lead angle is fixed to the rear end thereof. On the other hand, an output shaft 6 of an electric motor 5 fixed to a box 43 is coupled to a projecting portion of the third shaft 53 by a coupling, connected to a driving portion 63 forming an electromagnetic clutch 7, and connected to a driven portion 64 by applying an electric current to a magnet member. In this arrangement, the screw shaft 3 is rotated by a gear 56 fitted to a projecting shaft portion 33 of the screw shaft 3 through gears 59, 57. Accordingly, the relation between the screw shaft 3 and the output shaft 53 is instantaneously disconnected so as to control a hydraulic turbine without a danger of oil leakage.
