PURPOSE:To surely and easily apply electrolytic plating to the under-mentioned electric conductors, by relatively shifting a brush-shaped electrode in contact with a material to be plated in which isolated electric conductors are formed on an insulator and by carrying out electrolysis by using the above-mentioned electrode as a cathode. CONSTITUTION:In a plating bath tank 4 filled with an electrolyte, a brush- shaped electrode 2 formed by planting flexible conductive fibers, such as carbon fibers 1, in a supporting shaft 3 is rotatably arranged, and is brought into contact with a printed circuit board 5 having isolated electric-conductor parts 8. The above circuit board 5 is shifted on rolls 6 in the direction of an arrow to rotate the electrode 2, by which respective tips of the above-mentioned carbon fibers 1 are surely brought into contact with the electric-conductor parts 8. In this state, the electrode 2 is used as a cathode, and an electric current for electrolysis is sent between an anode plate 7 disposed in the tank and the above- mentioned cathode. By this method, electrolytic plating can be surely applied to the isolated fine electric-conductor parts 8.
