PURPOSE:To minimize electric power consumption during service interruption and to enable a sure service interruption assurance operation by reading the time when a service interruption arises from a time counter, storing the same into a memory, adding the data on the service interruption time by a service interruption time counter thereto after the recovery of the service interruption and transferring the data to a time counter. CONSTITUTION:A service interruption detection signal 106 is supplied to a processor 26a through a charging device 18 when the service interruption rises. A power supply is then switched to a battery 20 and the time when the service interruption arises by the counter 14 is stored into the memory 30 in the processor 26a and further, the service interruption time counter in the processor 26a counts the service interruption by counting the oscillation output via a frequency divider 12. The processor 26a adds the content of the memory 30a and the count content of the counter 31a and transfers the result thereof to the counter 14 upon recovery of the service interruption. The electric power consumption during the service interruption is minimized and the sure service interruption assurance operation is carried out by this constitution. |
