PURPOSE:To make simple and highly accurate measurement possible by constituting a titled device of the 1st means which applies the output of a nonmodulated signal generator to the input of the AM detector to be measured and the 2nd means which measures the DC voltage in the AM detected output. CONSTITUTION:The output of a generator 4 for nonmodulated signals, that is, only the carrier, is applied to the input of the AM detector 2 to be measured via a programmable attenuator 5 which has beforehand been set with plural rates of attenuation according to the detection characteristics to be measured, and the DC voltage appearing in the output of the detector 2 is measured with a DC voltmeter 6. The change component of the reading of the voltmeter 6 measured in correspondence to the rates of attenuation of the attenuator 5 is calculated, whereby the desired detection characteristics value is obtained. This calculation permits automatic reading of the detection characteristics value by providing a proper calculating circuit 7 such as comparator. Thereby, the simple and highly accurate measurement is accomplished. |
