<p>PURPOSE:To improve reinforcing effect by preventing generation of nap, by winding an alumina fiber yarn prepreg round a filament bundle of a specific diameter to the outside circumference of a cylindrical molded body of which a twist is given. CONSTITUTION:An alumina fiber yarn prepreg composed of by impregnating a filament bundle of an alumina material fiber with a thermosetting resin composition whose diameter is 5-20mum, to which 5-150 time twist per 1 meter have been given, is wound round the outside circumference of a cylindrical molded body composed of a material obtained by impregnating a reinforcing fiber with a thermosetting resin composition and cured/stuck continuously. If a filament diameter is 20mum or more, the filament is hard and apt to break when the same is wound round a fine diameter tubular body and if the filament diameter is 5mum or shorter, strength of the filament becomes low and nap is apt to occur. If the twists of the filament bundle is less than 5 times, the nap is apt to occur when the filament bundle is wound round a tubular molded body and if the twists of the filament exceeds 150 times, adhesion of winding to the ground becomes defective. With this method, it is possible to impregnate the filament bundle with the resin composition evenly without causing damage.</p> |
