PURPOSE:To make low-temperature and high-temperature liquids hard to mix while preventing a liquid nitrogen gas from scattering outside a container as used as low-temperature liquid, by arranging a sample box holding a sample to keep the top thereof from immersion into a testing liquid when a test is carried out. CONSTITUTION:When a sample box 5 is immersed into a low temperature liquid 3, a cover 10 provided on the thereof contains air with no hole on the top thereof so that the sample box 5 floats on the liquid 3 by its own buoyancy to keep the top of the cover 5 and a hanging material 8 from adhering to the liquid. Then, the sample box 5 floating on the liquid 3 is pulled up with a lift 6 from a low temperature side liquid container 1 after a fixed time passes, moved on to a high temperature side liquid container 2 along a support base 7 and, then, made to float on a high-temperature liquid 4 with the lift 6. The sample box 5 kept floating on the liquid r for a fixed time is pulled up with the lift 6 from the container 2, moved onto the container 1 along the support base 7 and, then, made to float wit the lift 6 on the liquid 3 to returned to the original condition. This enables the preventing of a liquid nitrogen from scattering outside the container.
