PURPOSE:To enable sticking of a sealant with an inexpensive material in a short sticking time by a small manpower, by applying a hot-melt sealant filled with a fibrous filler into a predetermined shape with an automatic coater. CONSTITUTION:A sealant for a window frame is sticked with, e.g., a hot-melt sealant filled with 0.5-40wt.% fibrous filler having a length of 0.5-5mm, such as carbon fiber or ceramic fiber, with an apparatus comprising a window frame supporting section, a computer section, a hot-melt discharge section, and a discharge opening driving section. According to this method, the computer can be driven to store each size and shape of the sealant and, at the same time, to automatically apply the sealant, which contributes to a remarkable reduction in the material cost and the production cost through automation.
