PURPOSE:To enable dust collection efficiency to stably maintain by controlling the flow rate of blow-down gas of a louver-type dust collector in a processing equipment of exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:High-temp. dust-containing gas generated from a converter 10 is fluctuated by the conditions in the oven. The amount of gas passing through the duct 12 of exhaust gas is changed according thereto. At this time, the amount of blow-down gas is measured with a flowmeter 26 provided to a blow-down pipe 23' and the measured amount is sent to a setter 27 of the opening of a flow rate control valve. It is compared with the previously set amount of constant blow-down gas and calculated and the opening of the flow rate control valve 25 is adjusted so that the amount of blow-down gas is made constant. Therefore, even if the amount of gas is fluctuated, the dust collection efficiency of a louver-type dust collector 13 can be always kept constant.
