PURPOSE:To obtain a device capable of readily producing handmade ice cream and sherbet, by setting an evaporating pipe under a table plate and equipping a device to changeably provide the evaporating pipe with cooling and a high- temperature high-pressure gas. CONSTITUTION:A previously prepared raw material to make ice cream, etc., is cast into a table plate 2 and a refrigerant is circulated through a compressor 6, an outlet circuit 7, an evaporating pipe 5 and a suction circuit 14. The table plate 2 is cooled by the circulation of the refrigerant. In order to warm the table plate 2 for thawing, the refrigerant is circulated through the compressor 6, a high-temperature high-pressure gas feed circuit 17, the evaporating pipe 5 and a suction circuit 14. By the circulation, a high-temperature high-pressure gas made into a low temperature by a heat exchanger is fed to the evaporation pipe 5.
