PURPOSE:To enable automation of a fixing step for each scallop without damaging the living body thereof, by fixing a fastening member forming a loop straddling over the hinge part on the shell surface part of the scallop by bonding. CONSTITUTION:A fastening member 16 forming a loop by nipping a hinge part 12 of each scallop 2 is bonded to the surface part of the scallop, which is then attached to a vertical hanging member 20 with the fastening member 16 and fastened in seawater. Furthermore, the bonding of the fastening member 16 for the above-mentioned shell surface part is preferably carried out by using an adhesive 14 applied to the surface part after subjecting the shell surface part to washing treatment with an acid.
