The heating boiler is constituted by a water-supply shell 12 in which is placed a combustion chamber 7 with a return chamber 7' on the side where the burner is, from which chamber the heating gas flues 13 are brought to a manifold (collector) 14 with a flue-gas exhaust nozzle 15, characterised in that the peripheral wall 1 of the combustion chamber extends at least as far as the plane of the zone of the rear panel of the shell 2, in that it is connected, at least in part, in a fixed manner, to this rear panel and in that, between the back 3 of the combustion chamber and the rear panel 2, the peripheral wall 4, which extends into this zone right up to the rear panel 2, is equipped with at least one upper and lower wall opening 5. <IMAGE>
