PURPOSE:To provide the titled system capable of opening a bale by scraping fibers in high efficiency, comprising a gate-shaped frame, elevator frame, lattice device, tilt cylinder and roller members. CONSTITUTION:Rails are provided along an opening conveyor 3 on which a plural line of lumps of fiber M are put, said rail being equipped with a gate- shaped frame 11 running reciprocally thereon. This gate-shaped frame 11 is equipped with a horizontal elevator frame 25 so as to set in vertical motion freely. This frame 25 is then fitted with a lattice device 30, with which fibers are scraped down from the upper surface of a fiber bale. Said frame 25 is provided with a tilt cylinder 32 to tilt the scraping surface of the lattice device 30 backward against the running direction. The fibers thus scraped are conveyed on a side conveyor 6. A guide roller is provided between the rails 4 and 5 to prevent a lump of fibers M1 from falling down toward the side conveyor 6 by being scraped with the lattice device 30.
