PURPOSE:To enhance the freshness keeping function of a film, by coating a base film with an aqueous solution of metal phthalocyanine polycarboxylic acid and binder resin and subsequently drying the coating layer to form a film layer. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous solution having metal phthalocyanine polycarboxylic acid and a binder resin dissolved therein or an emulsion wherein the binder resin is dispersed in an aqueous metal phthalocyanine polycarboxylic acid solution is prepared. After this solution or emulsion is applied to a base film, the coating layer is dried to form a film layer containing metal phthalocyanine carboxylic acid and the binder resin. As metal phthalocyanine polycarboxylic acid, there is metal phthalocyanine tetracarboxylic acid represented by formula I (wherein M is Fe, Co, Mn, Ti, V, Ni, Cu, Zn or the like).
