PURPOSE:To prepare the title detergent which is free from the corrosion and discoloration of a metallic base material, brings about no risk during handling and easy to handle, by mixing an anionic or nonionic surfactant with a phosphate and adjusting the pH value of the mixture to a particular value. CONSTITUTION:An anionic or nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10-16, pref. 12-14 (e.g., sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate) is mixed with a phosphate, pref. a polymerized phosphate (e.g., sodium tripolyphosphate) in a weight ratio of 1-9:9-1, 1-5:5-1 on a solid basis. Then, if necessary, a pH adjustor is added thereto to adjust the pH value to 7.5-9.5, pref. 8.5-9.5, thereby preparing the title detergent. This detergent is useful for washing of a metallic base material, particularly an aluminum base material of an air conditioner. |
