PURPOSE:To constitute a strong magnetic field suitable for the magnetic treatment of water by alternately stacking a large number of N-pole magnet assemblies and S-pole magnet assemblies. CONSTITUTION:In each of N-pole magnet assemblies 2, magnets 4 are arranged to the center of a magnetic piece 5 having water passing through-holes or notches provided to the peripheral edge thereof on both sides thereof so as to turn the N-poles of the magnets 4 to the magnetic piece 5. In each of S-pole magnet assemblies 3, the magnets 4 are arranged to the center of the magnet piece 5 having water passing through-holes or notches provided to the peripheral edge thereof on both sides thereof so as to turn the S-poles of the magnets 4 to the magnet piece 5. A large number of the N-pole magnet assemblies 2 and the S-pole magnet assemblies 3 are alternately laminated through spacers 6 having no magnetism so as to provide intervals therebetween. As a result, a strong magnetic field suitable for the magnetic treatment of water can be formed.
