When the gyration of the machine is started upon the approach of the machine to a ridge 20 in a field, the front part of the machine is tilted by a specific angle and the gyration of the machine is continued by a controller in a non-induced state. At the same time, the controller waits the input of a seedling detection signal from the sensor S within the gyration radius. When a seedling detection signal is inputted from the sensor S, the front part of the machine is steered to the restoration direction by the controller and the machine is automatically driven in a manner so as to follow a seedling row according to the signal transmitted from the sensor.
