PURPOSE:To realize miniaturization, the reduction of cost and improvement in moisture resistance simultaneously by thermally treating a capacitor element formed by winding or laminating a metallized film, on which aluminum is evaporated, for two hr or more at a temperature of at least 200 deg.C or more. CONSTITUTION:Aluminum is vacuum-deposited onto one surface of a heat- resistant dielectric film, and two metallized films acquired are wound, thus obtaining a capacitor element 1. The element is metallicon-sprayed with aluminum bronze as a weather-resistant metal to acquire an electrode leading-out layer 2, and the outside of the electrode leading-out layer 2 is metal-sprayed to shape a metallic layer 3 for external connection. The element is thermally treated for two hr or more at a temperature of at least 200 deg.C or more in atmospheric air or under a vacuum state. Accordingly, excellent moisture resistance can be provided without sheathing, and miniaturization and the reduction of cost are enabled.
