PURPOSE:To obtain the titled fiber, consisting essentially of soluble silicic acid, citric soluble phosphoric acid, citric soluble magnesium oxide and lime, containing citric soluble manganese, etc., as minor components and components providing a fertilizer in the fiber and useful as a culture medium capable of cultivating plants, etc., simply with water and part of a liquid fertilizer. CONSTITUTION:The aimed fiber, consisting of preferably 10-40wt.% substantially soluble silicic acid, preferably 15-30wt.% citric soluble phosphoric acid, preferably 10-30wt.% citric soluble magnesium oxide and preferably 10-40wt.% lime and containing one or more of citric soluble manganese, citric soluble boron, iron, molybdenum, copper and zinc as other minor components. Furthermore, the average fiber diameter is preferably 2-9mum and the average fiber length is preferably 1-10cm. |
