PURPOSE:To obtain a sludge treatment filter capable of practical use for a long time by providing discs which constitute a filter body comparatively more thick than that of a conventional filter discs. CONSTITUTION:The thickness of discs constituting a filter body is set to 0.4-3.0mm and comparatively more thick than that of a conventional filter discs. For instance, in a filter body consisting of a disc 21a, a large diameter disc 21b, a spacer 23a and a small diameter spacer 23b, the thickness of the disc 21a is set to 0.4-3.0mm. As a result, the warp or curvature of the disc is restricted and abrasion generated by the mutual contact of discs is prevented. Thus the disc can endure a long-term operation. In addition, only a limited kinds of disc and spacer are required and their assembly is comparatively feasible. These advantages contribute to a reduction of product cost.
