PURPOSE:To eliminate the possibility such that powder paint is adhered to the inner surface part of a can body separated from the vicinity of a side seam part, by providing a corona electrode and an electrode body different in polarity from said electrode in the vicinity of the outside of the masking apparatus of a horn. CONSTITUTION:A corona electrode 9 for charging the powder paint 10 injected from the jet orifice 8a of the powder paint 10 is provided to a horn 7, and a conveyor apparatus 21 transfers a can body 6 in such a state that the inner surface of the side seam part 5 thereof is opposed to the jet orifice 8a. Further, the masking devices 11 of the powder paint 10 are provided along the vicinity of the jet orifice 8a on both sides thereof so as to extend in the axial direction of the horn 7. An electrode body 16 different in polarity from the corona electrode 9 is provided in the vicinity of the outsides of the masking devices 11 of the horn 7 in parallel to the masking devices 11. As a result, even when a slight gas is present between masking device, it is eliminated that the powder paint is adhered to the inner surface part of the can body separated from the vicinity of the side seam part.
