PURPOSE:To enhance selection effects and breed plants, by cultivating crops in a vinylhouse overlappingly spread with plural vinyl sheets with an interval therebetween, making environment, such as temperature, wind and rain, uniform, reducing the amount of solar radiation and spindly growing plant bodies. CONSTITUTION:Crops are cultivated in a vinylhouse prepared by overlappingly spreading double - triple vinyl sheets with a thin interval between the respective vinyl sheets so as to provide uniform environment, such as temperature, wind and rain, reduce the amount of solar radiation and increase scattered light. Thereby plant bodies spindly grow due to the reduced amount of solar radiation and the amount of assimilation is increased by an increase of scattered light. Tissues and organs of the plants are grown into a characteristic form and selection effects can be enhanced to breed the plants. Furthermore, more accurate effects are obtained by forming the vinylhouse in a glasshouse or air conditioning room for enhancing regulating effects in temperature and humidity and preventing dust from the surroundings.
