The invention relates to a device for controlling spreading bars for spreading and making the ink penetrate into the printing dies of silk-screen printing machines, in which device first control members 49 are provided which are intended to give the said spreading bars 36, 37 reciprocating movements on one of the said dies 3 and include a plate element 5 which can move with reciprocating movements parallel to the said die 3, an oblong passage hole 6 made in the said plate element 5 and parallel to the said die 3 and a pivot 10 passing with rotation and in a sliding manner through the said oblong passage hole 6 and engaging the said spreading bars 36, 37, and in which device there are also provided second control members 50 intended to give the said spreading bars 36, 37 rising and falling movements with respect to the said die 3 and including a guide element 7 secured to the said plate element 5, extending in a plane which is transverse to the said pivot 10 and in a direction which is substantially transverse to the said oblong passage hole 6 and a lever 12 fixed transversely to the said pivot 10 and engaged in the said guide element 7 in a sliding manner.
