PURPOSE:To simply, automatically and rapidly perform adjustment for keeping the high frequency magnetic field from an antenna coil regardless of loss variation due to the replacement of an object to be examined, by mounting the second voltage control means for controlling the set value stored in a memory so that the output signal of a voltage detection means coincides with the value stored in an output voltage memory means. CONSTITUTION:Voltage is detected by a voltage detector 19 and receives the atttenuation of set quantity by a variable attenuator 20 and demodulated on the basis of the 0 deg.-phase reference signal from a splitter 22 in an I demodulator 23 through the contact A of a switch 21. The optimum high frequency voltage supplied to an antenna coil 3 varied by an object to be examined is preliminarily measured by a phantom to be stored in the memory in a CPU 101 and, at the time of the measurement of the object to be examined, the CPU 101 performs adjustment so as to obtain the detection voltage equal to the content of the aforementioned memory. As mentioned above, by performing slight addition to a conventional MRI apparatus, the control time at the time of the reception of the object to be examined can be shortened and the optimum state can be kept.
