PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of coating a photosensitive emulsion and to contrive the simplification of operations and the shortening of the coating time by immersing a screen mesh into the photosensitive emulsion in a tank and pressing the mesh to a specified thickness, then drying the emulsion. CONSTITUTION:The band-shaped screen mesh 22 consisting of, for example, 'Tetoron*', etc., is rewound from an original plate roll 21 and is immersed into the photosensitive emulsion 24 stored in the tank 23. The screen mesh 22 is then set to the specified thickness by a doctor roll 25 which is a pressing body and thereafter, the screen mesh is passed through a hot air drying furnace 26 and is cut to a prescribed size by a cutter 27. The screen mesh 22 is continuously supplied in such a manner in the stage for coating the photosensitive emulsion and since the pressing force by manual labor is not required, the efficiency of the coating is extremely improved and the simplification of the operations and the shortening of the coating time are contrived. |
