PURPOSE:To perform regulation of a position highly accurately at a high speed by the setting of numerical values without the adjustment of a mechanism, by directly comparing a position signal from a position detecting sensor and position data, which are stored in a memory circuit beforehand, at absolute values. CONSTITUTION:Position signal converters 30 and 31 convert the turning position signal of a platform from a position detecting sensor 23 and the position signal of a running truck from a position sensor 24 into digital signals B. The signals B are temporarily stored in latches 32 and 33. Meanwhile, in a memory circuit 34, the turning position of the platform of cables for a neutron measuring devices and the running position of the running truck are stored as the combined position data beforehand. The position signals C from the latches 32 and 33 and the position data D stored in the memory circuit 34 are inputted into a comparator 35. The absolute values of the position data are compared. Whether the values reach a regulating position or not is judged. When it is judged that the regulating position is reached in the comparator 35, a judged signal J is inputted into an FF 38 and maintained. Inhibition of operation K is outputted to a control device for the platform and the running truck.
