PURPOSE:To recognize an incoming call from a telephone set even at a location apart from the telephone set by converting an incoming signal detected from a telephone line into a radio signal so as to send and receive it thereby eliminating the need for wiring work. CONSTITUTION:The titled device consists of an incoming signal radio transmission section 10 and an audible bell signal generating section 20 and when a call comes to a telephone set 1 via a telephone line, the incoming signal is detected by an incoming detection circuit 11 and a transmission circuit 12 modulates a tone ringer signal from the incoming call detection circuit 11 into an FM signal (a) and sends it via an antenna 13. The sent FM signal (a) is received by a reception circuit 25 via an antenna 24 and demodulated into a tone ringer signal. The demodulated tone ringer signal is amplified by an amplifier circuit 26 to drive a speaker 27 and the presence of a call to the telephone set 1 is informed by the audible bell tone from the speaker 27. Thus, an audible bell signal generating section 20 located at an optional location in a room apart from the telephone set 1 recognizes the call.
