PURPOSE:To prevent a clogging and mold and germ from being increased without accompanying an increased noise and facilitate a maintenance of an air conditioner by a method wherein a humidifier is installed at a side cover which is attached to a cabinet side surface acting as a decorative component. CONSTITUTION:As an electric heater 6 of a humidifier 4 installed within a side cover 3 is energized, water W within a water tank 5 is heated by the electrical heater 6 into vapor. The vapor is dispersed into air flowing within a cabinet 1 through a nozzle pipe 7 so as to perform a humidifying for the air. Therefore, it is possible to eliminate such problems as clogging and generation of mold and germs. Since an air passage within the cabinet 1 has only one nozzle pipe 7, the air resistance is not increased and a noise is not increased. Further, since the humidifier 4 is installed within the side cover 3 attached to the outside part of the cabinet 1, it is possible to perform a maintenance work more easily. |
