The invention relates to a low-voltage busbar (10) having associated feeders (12) and luminaire supports. The busbar (10) has a flat, essentially rectangular cross-section and is provided in the centre region of one broad side with a longitudinally directed slot (14). The conductors (16, 18) of the busbars are located on the narrow-side ends of the cavity of the hollow profile. The feeder (12) and the luminaire support each have a T-shaped, two-pole current pick-off (30), in the case of which the vertical limb of the "T" forms a rotation shaft, and the lateral limb is narrower than the slot (14), its length corresponding to the distance between the conductors (16, 18). Despite the connection to the feeders and the luminaire supports having adequate mechanical strength, this method of construction allows the busbar to be designed such that it is visually inconspicuous, so that the busbar can be fitted as a decorative strip to furniture parts or the like.
