PURPOSE:To uniformly perform the stable welding with respect to spot weld zones by providing notches between the respective spot weld zones of one plate of superposed two plates to restrain a shunt current passing through the spot weld zones. CONSTITUTION:The plates 3 and 4 are made of mild steel, etc., and superposed upward and downward and arranged between electrodes 1 and 2 and the spot weld zone 5 is constituted of a connection between a projection of the plate 3 and the lower surface of the plate 3. The spot weld zone 5' has been already welded. The notches 6 are cracks extending from the edges between the spot weld zones 5 of the plate 3. By this method, at the time of welding the optional spot weld zone 5, the shunt current passing through the neighboring spot weld zone 5' which has been already welded is restrained and the stable welding is performed uniformly with respect to the spot weld zone 5.
