PURPOSE:To facilitate handling of a matrix of layers by enhancing the mechanical strength through an improvement for enhancing orientation of fluorine resin fine particles. CONSTITUTION:Silicon carbide is well dispersed in a solution of non-ion surface active agent with ultrasonic wave, and well mixed with dispersion of polytetra- fluoroethylene (PTFE) fine particles, and to which ethylene glycol is added, thereby a mixed coagulation of silicon carbide and PTFE fine particles is obtained. Next, the coagulation is well kneaded with a double-arm type kneader so that the PTFE fine particles are formed in fibers. Then it is formed in a plate while being subjected to extrusion molding process. At the time of extrusion, the fiberlike PTFE fine particles are aligned with orientation in the extrusion direction and a matrix of layers is obtained having elongated fibers. Thus it is possible to improve mechanical strength of matrix layers and handling warkability. |
