The invention relates to a sheet-conveying device for assisting sheet guidance in sheet-fed printing machines which can be used optionally in face printing or perfecting and in which the sheet is turned on the principle of trailing-edge turning and which have one or three sheet-guiding cylinders between the printing units, a plurality of sheet-conveying bars and blower boxes located below them and having air outlet apertures being provided below the sheet-conveying path between the turning cylinder and the upstream cylinder. According to the invention, the object is achieved in that the sheet-conveying bars have a convex shape between the turning cylinder and the upstream cylinder, seen from the sheet-conveying path.
