<p>This invention relates to a laser oscillator for causing oscillation by effecting laser excitation by discharge between double spiral electrodes opposing each other. The number of turns of the spiral structure of the electrodes (9a, 9b) is set to be an integer. The starting points of spirals of the electrodes (9a, 9b) are deviated from each other by π/n around the axis of a discharge tube (1). According to the construction described above, a substantially perfect circular mode and a fundamental mode are accomplished.</p> |
