<p>A ceramic superconductor is made by consolidating a plurality of metals and a chalcogen and applying a magnetic field during the consolidation operation. The metals and chalcogen may be provided as particles including these constituents in admixture with one another. These particles may be consolidated by compacting and sintering, and the magnetic field may be applied during the compacting step.</p> |
