Problem: In order to improve traction in motor vehicles, different anti-skid devices are used for winter road conditions. These have the following disadvantages: Spiked tyres are very expensive, noisy, destroy the roadway and are therefore prohibited. Starting aids are only permitted for short distances and are clumsy and very expensive. Anti-skid devices made of synthetic fibre are sensitive, difficult to repair and very expensive. Steel element snow chains are noisy and damage the road pavement. Relatively large repairs are expensive. Cheap chains become defective very quickly, good-quality chains are very expensive. Solution: - Inexpensive anti-skid device with gripping webs made of recycled material, preferably used tyres - It can also be used to drive on a roadway which is free of ice or snow without damaging the roadway - Simple and inexpensive repairs Application: For relatively light motor vehicles with pneumatic tyres such as passenger cars, minibuses, delivery vans and caravans. Typical uses: commuters, housewives, delivery firms, domestic service firms, taxi drivers, royal mail employees, etc.
