The invention relates to a casting mould for the production of muffles used for the conversion of wax patterns into metal. This casting mould comprises a funnel former (1), which consists of a disc-shaped baseplate (4) around the circumference of which there runs a sidewall (5) perpendicular to the baseplate, and of a cone (6) arranged in the centre of the baseplate, and further comprises a tubular muffle ring (2) partially inserted into the funnel former (1), the outer wall of the muffle ring (2) resting against the inner circumference of the sidewall (5) of the funnel former (1). According to the invention, a cylindrical ring (7), the central opening of which surrounds the cone, is inserted at that end of the muffle ring (2) which is adjacent to the funnel former (1). A blind funnel (3), the tip of which points towards the cone (6) of the funnel former (1), is furthermore provided at that end of the muffle ring (2) which lies opposite the funnel former (1). In this way, it is possible to achieve even three-dimensional expansion of the embedding material in the region of the casting cavities. <IMAGE>
