The tapping clip comprises a clamping bracket 1 and a connection part 2, which can both be fixedly clamped on a pipe 3. For the sealed closure between the connection part 2, which exhibits a connection bore 11 provided for connection to the pipe 3, and said pipe 3, the invention provides a beaded flat gasket 16, coaxial with the connection bore 11, between the connection part 2 and the pipe 3. The beaded flat gasket 16 exhibits, on one side, a guide bead which is guided in a groove 21 of the connection part 2 and, on the other side, a sealing bead 18 which is provided for resting on the pipe 3 in a sealing manner. Guide bead and sealing bead 18 are laterally enclosed, to the inside and to the outside, by a flat gasket 19 which, in the installed state, is arranged in a sealing manner between the connection part 2 and the pipe 3. The beaded flat gasket 16 combines the advantages of an O-ring seal with those of a flat gasket, while avoiding their disadvantages. <IMAGE>
