Method of incorporating whiskers in a metallic matrix

The method is used to produce foils made of whisker-reinforced metals. The foils are produced using an electroplating technique by deposition from a suspension of whiskers in the electrolysis solution on rolls or endless strips of certain materials. The foils can be peeled off the latter as a result of the low adhesion forces between the materials and the deposits.
