PURPOSE:To enable a fixed amount of ink to be normally supplied for a long period, by a method wherein a homogeneous layer in which super hard material and lipophilic material are minutely mixed is established on a peripheral surface, or otherwise the homogeneous layer is coated by the lipophilic material, and a roller is prepared by grinding its outer periphery. CONSTITUTION:A homogeneous layer 4 in which tungsten carbide-cobalt WC-Co series material particle as super hard material 2 and aluminium bronze AlBC particle as lipophilic material 3 are minutely mixed is efficient in abrasion resistance, lipophilic property, and hydrophobic property. For instance, where WC-12Co series material and Cu-10Al-5Ni-5Fe as AlBC are used, good results can be obtained near a weight ratio of almost about: 75:25-60:40. Then, as the lipophilic material 3' which further coats the homogeneous layer 4, for instance copper or copper alloy is preferably used by making much account of lipophilic property and hydrophobic property from a stand point of thermal conduction. A surface is preferably so ground by coat working in addition to coating that a surface of a roller becomes a smooth surface in which the homogeneous layer 4 and the lipophilic material 3 are mixed. |
