PURPOSE:To increase sliding amount in limited space, in a fluid pressure slide table to be employed in factory automation, by coupling a plurality of fluid pressure cylinders in parallel and in series such that strokes of respective cylinders are added to provide stroke of table. CONSTITUTION:Under the condition shown by dot and dash line where fluid pressure cylinders 7, 8 stretched fully, fluid is fed through a path 131 into a fluid pressure chamber 121 of the cylinder 7 while discharged from a fluid chamber 122 through a path 132. Consequently, a cylinder 11 moves to the right so as to move the table 5 to the right through a coupling board 15 and the fluid cylinder 8 and position the table 5 in the center of a base 1. When fluid is fed into the fluid chamber 191 of the fluid cylinder 8 and discharged from a fluid chamber 192 so as to move a cylinder 18 to the right, the table 5 is further moved to the right and positioned as shown by solid line. With such arrangement, moving amount of table can be increased with respect to the entire length of device.
