发明名称 PREPARATION OF ROASTED TEA HAVING IMPROVED FRAGRANCE BY UTILIZING ROLLING OPERATION
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable drying of tea leaves in high efficiency, to improve the appearance of tea leaves and develop the characteristic fragrance of roasted tea, by continuously rolling tea leaves with hot air or open fire after the treatment in a 1st cylinder in a process for roasting raw tea leaves. CONSTITUTION:A 1st cylinder of a continuous tea-roasting machine is heated at a high temperature and tea leaves are continuously charged into the cylinder. The whole tea leaves are uniformly heated and subjected to roasting and steaming treatment until the weight loss of the tea leaves reaches 17-23%. The roasted tea leaves are continuously rolled under heating with hot air or open fire. The rolled leaves are subjected to conventional rolling, water-drying, squeezing and drying procedures to obtain processed tea leaves.
