PURPOSE:To eliminate root entanglement, by connecting a fishing sink through two bars to a fishing line reaching from a fishing rod to a knotting point of hook and cutting a line between one of the connecting bars and the fishing line when >=fixed force is applied to a tension adjusting device. CONSTITUTION:A sink 4 is provided with connecting bars 6 and 6', one connecting bar 6 is connected to a fishing line 1 reaching from a fishing rod to a knotting point of hook through a tension adjusting device 3 which cut a connecting mechanism when >=fixed force is applied to the tension adjusting device and the other connecting bar 6' is connected to the fishing line 1 through a by-pass bar 5. When the sink 4 has root entanglement and the >=fixed force is applied to the tension adjusting device 3, the part is cut, the sink 4 is inverted to eliminate root entanglement.
